High Court Grants Anticipatory Bail to Dushmant Panda

Bhubaneswar: Actor Dushmant Panda, who has been entangled in controversy over his first marriage got a huge relief after an Odisha High Court bench granted him anticipatory bail on Saturday.

Justice Sanju Panda, the single-judge bench, sanctioned the bail to Mr. Panda on a surety amounting of Rs 10,000 and subject the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM), Bhubaneswar. While other conditions will be fixed by the lower court, said the High Court.

Earlier, Panda had applied for anticipatory bail after an FIR was lodged against him by his counterpart Priti Mohanty claiming a conjugal relationship. She had also filed an affidavit before High Court against Panda not to get anticipatory bail, sources said.
