Bhubaneswar: The supplementary examination results were published on Wednesday by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE).
As said by BSE President Dr. Satyakam Mishra, the pass percentage this year was 32.43%, which is a little less than previous year’s pass percentage of 34.90%.
This year about 57,638 students had appeared the examinations, out of which 1566 students were caught during malpractice.
The supplementary examinations were held in August, 2011. This year, 133 students passed in first division, 953 passed in second division and 14,969 students passed in third division.
Deogarh registered the highest success rate with 51.80. On the other hand Koraput was at the bottom with 16.97 %.
It is noteworthy to mention that in view of the Panchayat polls in February, there has been a change in schedule of the Annual HSC Exam and Plus II Exams.
