Bhubaneswar:The state-wide journey of Bigyan Rath which started on 14th November 2011 in the run up to the 99th Science Congress scheduled to be held at KIIT University from 3rd January to 7th January, will conclude in Cuttack, the birthplace of renowned scientist P. K. Parija, on 3rd December 2011.
The Bigyan Rath is an innovative initiative of KIIT University and NISER to popularize science among the youths and common people of the State of Odisha. It was flagged off from Khandapada, the birthplace of Pathani Samanta, by Shri M. C. Bhandare, His Excellency the Governor of Odisha.
The Bigyan Rath would end its journey at a ceremony in the premises of Ravenshaw University on 3rd December 2011 at 03.00 PM.
