Bhubaneswar: Five robbers who were involved in the gold merchant loot case on 20th November, have been arrested by Puri police.

The police has recovered 7 mobiles, 8 gold chains, 8 earrings, 1 motor cycle from their possession.

It is noteworthy to mention that Jashmin Dhakan, a gold merchant of Gujarat, was looted by some robbers near Chanagorada along NH 203 under the Satyabadi police limits while he was returning to Cuttack on a scooter. The robbers attacked him with sharp weapons and escaped with gold ornaments along with two mobile phones.

Jashmin had lodged an FIR at the Satyabadi Police Station and the police after investigation was able to nab the robbers.
