New Delhi: India on Wednesday, entered into the semifinals of the South Asian Football Federation Championship (SAFF) 2011 semifinals, which is in action at the Jawarharlal Nehru Stadium.

Defeating Sri Lanka by 3-0, India will meet Maldives in Friday’s semifinal.

Five-time champions India finished to place in second position after Afghanistan, routing Bhutan 8-1 in Group A.

In the second semifinal Nepal will take on Afghanistan.
