Bhubaneswar: Indian Water Works Association (IWWA) inaugurated its 29th regional centre in Odisha on Saturday. A good number of engineers, academicians, scientists, policy makers, planners, administrators and industrialists were present at the inaugural ceremony.

IWWA was established in 1968 at Mumbai with a sole aim to serve the country in the field of water, waste water management and sanitation.

The Centre was inaugurated by Rural Development and Law Minister Bikram Keshari Arukh. He appreciated IWWA for opening a centre in Odisha.

Later, a technical seminar on “Water and Sanitation for All” was organised where the delegates discussed on the current status of water supply and sanitation in Odisha.
