Bhubaneswar: India beat West Indies by 34 runs in the fifth and final One Day International (ODI) to lift Airtel Cup played at the Chepauk Stadium on Sunday.

Kieron Pollard’s stunning century (119 runs of 110 balls) went in vain, when he was made out by Suresh Raina.

On the other hand, Manoj Tiwary’s maiden hundred (104 retd hurt; 126 balls with 10 fours and a six) and brilliant efforts by the Indian bowlers made it possible for India to have a crucial win against the Caribbeans.

Tiwary was declared as the Man of the Match and Rohit Sharma bagged the Man of the Series Trophy.
