Bhubaneswar: After a long halt of almost three months, the District Administration on Tuesday resumed the construction work of coastal roads with the help of the police and Posco officials.
As per sources, large number of workers of the construction company started the work near Dhinkia at 10am in the morning. The 10-km coastal road will link Mahal near IOCL refinery to the proposed Posco site.
The Secretary of the Posco Pratirodhaka Sangram Samiti (PPSS), Sishir Mohapatra said, “We will not allow them to construct the road.”
Posco officials led by its Director Y K Kim and IDCO Manager Sangram Mohapatra had expressed satisfaction over the progess of the coastal road work during their visit.
