Bhubaneswar: In a six-month exercise to look for 20 best young astronomers from amongst the schools of the State, the Tata Steel for the fifth time organised the Young Astronomer Talent Search (YATS) programme at Pathani Samanta Planetarium on Tuesday.

In a function held here, the State Minister for Science and Technology Usha Devi honoured the top 20 budding student astronomers of Odisha.

Sources said, the YATS competition was open for students of Standard 10th to Standard 12th in all schools of the State. It was conducted in three stages in seven different zones such as Belpahar, Keonjhar, Joda, Jajpur, Bhubaneswar, Berhampur and Jeypore.
