Bhubaneswar: Odisha fought back in the second innings to make 279 runs for three wicket after having forced to follow on with a 185-run first innings lead on the penultimate day of their four-day Cooch Behar Trophy (U-19) Plate group A match against Haryana at Nimpur Ground in Cuttack on Saturday.

Pallabindu Mishra, Ranjit Singh and Sujit Lenka scored a half century each and the host team took a lead of 94 runs with seven wicket in hand. Lenka made 69 runs (not out, 66 balls, nine 4’s, one 6) and Sumitosh Praharaj on 11 (not out). Pallabindu smashed 83 (126 balls, thirteen 4’s, one 6), while Ranjit slammed 78 (133 balls, nine 4’s, two 6’s).
