Bhubaneswar: Inspite of batting well in the second innings, host Odisha suffered a five-wicket defeat from Haryana on the fourth and last day of their Cooch Behar Trophy (U-19) Plate Group A match at Nimpur Ground in Cuttack on Sunday.

Resuming their second innings overnight score of 279 for three, the Odisha team was all out for 365 runs. Needing 181 runs for victory, Haryana’s batsman Guntash Singh and S Sharma scored half-century each to reach the target in 43.2 overs for the loss of five wickets. After winning the game, Haryana got five points, while Odisha drew blank.
