Bhubaneswar: A century by Subhrajyoti Mishra guided the host Odisha to take first innings lead against Railways on the second day of their Cooch Behar Trophy (U-19) Plate Group A match at Bidanasi Ground in Cuttack on Friday.
In reply to Railway’s first innings total of 306, Odisha scored 335 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Earlier, resuming their first innings at the overnight score of 58 for no loss, Odisha suffered an early setback as opener Pallabendu Mishra got out. But Subhrajyoti scoring 81 runs with partner Ranjit Singh (31) guided the innings.
Subhrajyoti departed immediately after completing his century (100 off 166balls, sixteen 4’s). Sheshdeep Patra(44) and Aryashree Bhatta (45) also made useful contributions for Odisha.
