Bhubaneswar: An unbeaten half-century by Ranjit Singh guided host Odisha to six-wicket win over Railway on the penultimate day of their four-day Cooch Behar Trophy (U-19) Plate Group A match at Bidanasi ground in Cuttack.

As per sources, Odisha bowlers, especially Asmit Rout and Harisankar Pati bagged three wicket each and made Railway all out for 150 in the second innings, set the platform for victory. Chasing 115 for the win, the home team lost four wickets for 67 runs before an unbeaten 58 (73balls, four 4’s, five 6’s) by Ranjit Singh helped them to reach the winning target in 27.5 overs.
