After nearly a year of dismal BlackBerry PlayBook sales, RIM in 2012, is planning multiple device launches, including a 10-inch PlayBook and a new 7-inch PlayBook.

The 7-inch PlayBook features almost the same hardware specifications as its predecessor. However, the new model unlike a Wi-Fi connectivity as in its older version, will pack a 3G connectivity, which will make the tablet much more worthy. The device will possibly be launched in April this year.

The LTE-based 10-inch Playbook is likely to hit the market by the end of this year. The new Black Berry tablets will run on BlackBerry Tablet OS 2.0 operating system which is set to be released by the end of February.

Besides these tablets, the company is speculated to consider the launch of the rumored BlackBerry 10 slider Milan that was cancelled.
