Bhubaneswar: The Congress Party has released its manifesto by reiterating its national position on issues like anti-corruption and land acquisition.
The OPCC has asked for greater autonomy to village body and has demanded quarterly meetings of gram sabha. The manifesto has said about making the attendance of officials mandatory at the meetings related to all functions of gram panchayats.
The manifesto has also compared the fund provision by the current UPA government, which it claims to be Rs. 90000 crore, to the then NDA government with BJD as its coalition partner, which it claims Rs. 33,844 crore.
