Jagatsinghpur: Jagadguru Sankaracharya from Govardhan Pitha Puri, Swami Nischalananda Saraswati during his three day visit to Jagatsinghpur district on Tuesday expressed fretful by evaluating present trend of Hindu religion and Hindu peoples who lack sensitivity towards protecting their religion.
Hindu culture and religion have come under attack by other religions and western culture, have been killing rich precedent of Sanatan Dharma in the country. So he appealed countrymen to be united and work for caring their Hindu religion.
Speaking on a religious discourse at Sarambo village six km away from here Sankaracharya said successive Governments in country have adopted anti Hindu stance and contrary Hindu policy after Independence for which minority groups have been strengthened in country and minority communities have become vote bank for the political parties which signals threat to the country’s unity and integrity. If the practice proceeds on Hindu will become minority in the country, Swamiji revealed.
Expressing his strong displeasure over conversion, Swamiji said, even if law available to check the growing menace of conversion it is implemented less. The poor, downtrodden and illiterate people living aside the country are going to be victims of conversion meanwhile the minorities are increasing their potency and spreading their anti Hindu stance in country ironically. we Hindu people are mute over the incident, no religion across the world allows forcible conversion or impress people to change their religion, but taking advantage of country’s legal and financial loop holes, anti Hindu
western groups have made their sincere target devastating Hinduism since three decades, Swamiji fumed.
Throwing sympathy towards growing Naxalisim, Maoist and terrorist organizations activities in the country in the past several years, Sankaracharya pointed at the lack good governance, annoyed on which disgusted people especially youth alternatively chose to take path of violence to put forth their rage. But this issue could be resolved if
government starts successful dialogue with them and begins to consider their sufferings, Swamiji ascertained.
Adding more light to Hindu religion he appealed preachers, saint and Hindu artistic sympathizers to go people and convey the message of Hinduism and to start a movement against those trying to destroy our religion, Swamiji suggested.
Swamiji reached at Mangala temple Sarambo village on Monday night and a rousing welcome was extended by local people, on Tuesday afternoon who attended a religious discourse organized by Sidhadatri Jiban Seva Shrama, a local religious organization.
