New Delhi: Gaana.com is one of the first Indian music website to offer Facebook’s Timeline App. Facebook users can now share the music they are listening to with their friends.

It is to be noted that Facebook, recently launched Timeline Apps, with over 60 applications that allows users to share their real-world activities with friends.

With Gaana.com application now included in Facebook’s list of applications, a user when clicks on Gaana.com > is taken to the Gaana.com website > where he or she can choose the music they want to listen to. Facebook posts an updated profile status of the song they are listening to.

Announcing the application, Mr Rishi Khiani, CEO of Times Internet Ltd. said, “We have always believed music is discovered via common tastes and peer to peer recommendation. With gaana.com’s integration on Facebook’s Timeline, we expect to see strong traction of our content and an increased user base via Facebook.”

Gaana.com provides free and licensed music to its listeners and boasts one of the largest collections of Hindi, Regional and English songs. Besides simple navigation and ease of content discovery, the key features include song recommendations, Internet Radio and other social features.
