Paradip:‘Canmass’ a theatre organization of Paradiep port town has started a month long theatre workshop at Paradiep in association with Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi.

The workshop aims to generate young artistic talents to proceed towards theatre and to educate them in acting, designing, direction, play writing and theatre management.

Scholars and eminent theater personalities and resource persons from theater turfs took part in the work shop and supported the organizers endeavor.

The workshop was inaugurated by Mr Saroj Kumar Misro, Traffic Manager Paradiep port trust and President, Jagannath Lalit Kala Sansad a cultural body of Paradip Port Trust had joined as the chief guest of the occasion and praised organizer’s effort hosting such work shop which will give ample opportunity to young talents for making theatre as a carrier.

Dolgovind Rath, an eminent theatre personality of Odisha and a pass out from National School of Drama has joined the workshop as camp director.

Capt.Atulya Kumar Mohapatra, Canmass President Sriman N. Mishra, Secretary,  Niroj Kumar Pattnaik along with few theater fondly students while participating in the workshop had expressed their apprehension citing manifold reasons affecting theatre and its smooth  progress in recent times.
