Cobra rescued from the premises of the State Secretariat today
Bhubaneswar A cobra was rescued from the premises of the State Secretariat by a snake helpline team today.

Subhendu Mallick, the founder of the helpline, who led the rescue team, said that the snake was an Indian cobra and measured about four feet in length.

“We found the snake near the main gate of the Secretariat,” Mallick told.

It was captured before it could bite any one, he said adding that the snake was first spotted by the security staff of the Secretariat.
