Forestry Students Protesting against State Government Idleness
Bhubaneswar: Students of Forestry College, OUAT are demanding to make BSc Forestry as the minimum qualification to apply for the post of Forest Ranger. They are protesting for this since February 27, 2012. State Governments of Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Tamilnadu, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kharkhand have already adopted this as the minimum education qualification for the Forest Ranger Post.

According to students they are protesting against the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s silence and Forest Minister Devi Prasad Mishra’s false promises on their demand. Students wore black badge to protest this idleness of the State Government.
