Cuttack: The Orissa High Court today has directed film actor and producer and the chief of Fine India Company, Nasir Khan, the alleged kingpin of Rs 500-crore Balasore multi-level marketing funds, to appear before the court on March 21 with his passport.

A division bench comprising of Chief Justice V Gopalagowda and Justice B N Patnaik has also asked all the directors of the company to appear in the court on March 21 with affidavits on individual assets and income-tax returns.

The orders were issued during hearing on the petition filed by All India Networkers Welfare Trust, Bangalore, through its trustee K Selvaraj seeking directions to the Crime Branch and the banks to refund the deposits made by the trust members.

Nasir Khan and the company face charges of laundering public deposits of Rs 500 crores.
