Cuttack: Deccan Chargers the winners of the second edition IPL is leaving no stone unturned to win this years Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament.
According to sources, the team visited Puri to offer prayers and to seek the blessings of Lord Jagannath on Sunday.
The vaastu expert of the Deccan Chargers, Ananth Mallaya Sidhanti Sharma, who is scheduled to play two matches at Barabati Stadium, visited Barabati Stadium on Monday and found some architectural defects (vaastu dosh).
The expert suggested some remedies for the success of the team. He said that there is some defect in one of the toilets, particularly near the corporate boxes which can be overcomed by placing 18 bricks inside the toilet.
The vaastu expert had also suggested that a Ganesh idol and picture of Ganesh temple to be positioned in the players’ dressing room and office of the Deccan Chargers, sources in the Odisha Cricket Association said.
It is noteworthy to mention that the Deccan Chargers would meet Kolkata Knight Riders on April 22 and Pune Warriors on May 1 at Barabati.
