Bhubaneswar: Interest, excitement, thrill and emotions for the IPL 5 among the cricket lovers, picked up momentum in Odisha, with the arrival of the two teams the Deccan Chargers, Hyderabad and the Kolkata Knight Riders at Bhubaneswar on Friday.
The players were greeted with traditional tilak.
Meanwhile, with the Deccan Chargers taking on Kolkata Knight Riders at Barabati stadium on April 22, the twin city commissionerate of police has pulled up its socks to ensure an incident-free match. Security drill has been conducted by the hyper-active Police Commissionerate of the twin city Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
Apart from this hundreds of policemen have been deployed at the stadium, along with the commandos to ensure proper security of the players. Moreover provision has also been made for CCTV surveillance in and around the stadium.
As like other venues the Barabati Stadium is expected to make the match a grand success and the sports loving spectators are expected to enjoy the high voltage match.
