Bhubaneswar: Dr. Prakash Chandra Panigrahi, the senior teacher of D.A.V. Public School, Chandrasekharpur and President of Niladri Vihar youth and cultural Association, Bhubaneswar has been conferred with the coveted ‘Rajiv Gandhi Rashtriya Ekta Samman-2012’ for his remarkable contributions in the field of Art, Education and Community/Public Life at New Delhi.

In order to promote national unity, National Integration, Brotherhood and Oneness every year ‘Rajiv Gandhi Rashtriya Ekta Samman’ is awarded to a handful of multi-dimensional personalities working with same motto all over the nation.

This year the award was presented to Dr. Prakash in a grand ceremony at India International Centre, New Delhi on August 20, 2012 by Shri Charan Das Mahant, Hon’ble Minister of State for Agriculture & Food Processing Industries, Govt. of India.
