“The State Government will take transparent and proper steps, if any corruption in any of the companies is detected,” Patnaik said.
It is noteworthy to mention that Mohapatra on Saturday had demanded a CBI probe into the role of Patnaik in coal blocks allocations to private companies. Patnaik after his return from New Delhi on Sunday, rubbished the allegation by Mohapatra and termed it as baseless and false.
The Chief Minister also rubbished the reports of his meeting with some Congress leaders during his five-day visit to New Delhi as baseless and incorrect.
“There is no question of support to the UPA government from BJD,” Patnaik said.
