Panelists at the Panel Discussion on “Maternal & Newborn Health” at Bhubaneswar on FridayBhubaneswar: With the aim to create awareness and mitigate the issues relating to maternal and newborn mortality, Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF), the social development arm of IMFA, in collaboration with International NGO Pathfinders International organised a Panel Discussion on “Maternal & Newborn Health” at Bhubaneswar on September 28, 2012.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Shaifalika Panda, CEO, BIPF, said, “Saving the lives of mothers and newborns require more than just medical intervention. Together we must create a supportive environment to help women make the right decision on the critical issues that affect their health.”
Dr. Pramila Mohanty, Joint Director, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Odisha, Mr. Hemant Dwivedi, Head of UNFPA in Odisha, Dr. Satish Saluja, renowned Paediatrician and Fellow National Neonatology Forum, Dr. Sujata Kar, eminent Gynaecologist of Odisha, Ms. Shaifalika Panda graced the occasion as panelists.
