Bhubaneswar: A six-member team of the Justice M B Shah Commission will visit Odisha on October 3, to probe into the mining scam in the Country.
The State Government on Saturday said that it was ready with documents for verification sought by the six-member team.
“Odisha Government has no hesitation to produce records as sought by the commission. All the departments have been asked to keep their files and records ready for the purpose,” Chief Secretary B K Patnaik told.
The Commission before its arrival had asked the State Government to arrange records from departments like Steel and Mines, Forest and Environment, Revenue and Odisha State Pollution Control Board.
It is noteworthy to mention that the central government had appointed the Commission which had been probing into mining scam in different states. Earlier the Commission had visited the state in December last year.
