Love Triangle Leads to Death of a Student, Six Arrested

Bhubaneswar: Broad day light murder of a Plus Two student in the State capital has left people of the area shocked. Police has arrested six persons in connection with the murder of the abducted student, Tara Pranab Singh, whose half-burnt body was found inside a cashew nut farm in Chandaka nearly 35 km from Khurda on Monday.

A love triangle led to the murder. Singh was abducted on October 13 by his classmate Dipak Pradhan. Both Singh and Pradhan were in love with the same girl. Four of Pradhan’s aides, who helped him in the murder are also college students. The fifth accused is driver of the van, used to kidnap Singh. Police have seized the van used in the crime.
