Bhubaneswar: A day before the proposed rally by Odisha Jan Morcha (OJM), a political forum to establish “internal democracy in the state‚Äôs ruling party” floated by Rajya Sabha member and rebel Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader Pyari Mohan Mohapatra, BJD on Saturday has declared the Morcha as unconstitutional.

“OJM has not been formed as per the constitution of the party. Therefore, OJM should not be referred as a frontal wing of the BJD,” Panchayati Raj minister Kalpataru Das and BJD’s chief whip Pravat Tripathy told reporters at a joint media conference.

Adding more they dubbed Mohapatra as a ‘Congress agent’.

The BJD has asked all its leaders, activists and supporters to refrain from attending OJM rally as it is not part of the ruling party,” they added.
