According to police sources a three-tier security arrangement has been made at the venue of the rally to prevent any possible untoward incident.
As many as 45 platoons of force have been placed at different vulnerable points of the capital city. At least 20 Deputy Superintendent of police, 40 inspectors and 100 sub-inspectors and assistant sub-inspectors have been pressed into service.
Apart from this, all the vehicles (both two and four wheelers) heading towards Lower PMG would be checked thoroughly at various check points at Phulnakahara, Gangapada, Kalpana Square and Uttara Square of the State capital before proceeding.
Similarly, adequate arrangement has also been made for crowd control methods like water cannons, tear gas etc to face any possible waywardness of the workers.
As informed by Odisha Jan Morcha (OJM) spokesperson Jagneswar Babu on Wednesday two separate rallies one from Ram Mandir square and the other from Sishu Bhawan square will be taken out. Both the rallies will then meet at Lower PMG square.
