After the successful launch of iPhone 5 on September 21 in the USA, Apple’s sixth-generation handset, the most-anticipated iPhone 5 will launch in India on November 2.
To remind you, the iPhone 5 sports a 4-inch multi-touch Retina display, with a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels powered by a A6 processor and runs on Apple’s iOS 6 platform.
The iPhone 5 comes with a 1.2MP HD camera that rests on its front, allowing users to conduct video calls and capture clips and a 8 megapixel camera at the back that comes with an all-new sapphire crystal lens cover. Even though it’s taller than the iPhone 4S, it’s lighter. It weighs merely 112 grams.
The new machine has speedier innards, due to a new A6 chip designed by Apple. The chip is twice as fast in terms of CPU and graphics.
On connectivity front, iPhone 5 supports Wi-Fi 802.11n, 3G, 4G LTE, Lightning connector and Bluetooth 4.0. Other feature include a rechargeable Li-ion battery that’s capable of delivering up to 8 hours of talktime over 3G or 255 hours of standby.
The iPhone 5 will be available in three variants 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. However, there is no way to expand the memory with memory cards. The 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB variants is priced at Rs. 45,500, Rs. 52,500 and Rs. 59,500 respectively.
