Cyclone ‘Nilam’ Intensifies, More Rains Expected in the State in Next 24 Hours

Bhubaneswar: Cloudy weather prevailed over the capital city Bhubaneswar on Friday, due to the influence of Cyclone ‘Nilam’. The Meteorological Department has predicted isolated showers in a few places of the State in the next 24 hours as Cyclone ‘Nilam’ has intensified.

The capital city Bhubaneswar and other parts in the State also witnessed some light showers on Thursday.

Similarly, parts of Southern and coastal Odisha including Berhampur and Koraput have been experiencing sporadic rainfall since Wednesday, under the impact of cyclone Nilam.

The Meteorological Department has warned the fishermen not to venture into the sea for the next 24-hours.
