Bhubaneswar: The winter session of the Odisha assembly will begin from November 27, an official said Wednesday.
The state government is likely to pass about 13 bills during the session, which will continue till December 22, a senior official of the state’s parliamentary affairs department told.
State Finance Minister Prasanna Acharya would present a supplementary budget for the current year November 29.
The session, which will have 21 working days, is likely to be stormy in view of the increasing dissidence in the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) which the opposition Congress party is aiming to exploit.
The BJD has 108 members in the 147-member assembly.
