Odisha Fishermen Warned against Going into the Sea

Bhubaneswar: Fishermen in Odisha Saturday were alerted against venturing into the sea as a low pressure area has been formed over the Bay Bengal, an official said.

An official of the meteorological centre here told that the low pressure area “has become well marked and is likely to intensify into a depression”.

“As a result, strong and gusty surface winds at 45-55 kmph would prevail along and off the state coast,” he said adding, “some places in the state may also witness rain over next two day”.
