New Delhi: The Rajya Sabha’s select committee report on the Lokpal and Lokayuktas was tabled amidst din in the upper house Friday.

The bill was tabled amidst ruckus created by the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) members who were demanding reservation in promotion.

The bill on Lokpal and Lokayuktas was sent to a select committee in the budget session earlier this year after several objections were raised on its form. It was passed by the Lok Sabha at the end of the winter session last year.

The Rajya Sabha was later Friday adjourned till 2.30 p.m. over the issue of foreign investment in multi-brand retail.
