“She wants to understand the character well and take Rekha’s advice how to go about it,” a source said.
The original classic comedy was directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. Shashanka Ghosh is expected to helm the new version, which will be produced by Sonam’s father Anil and sister Rhea.
