The woman was gang-raped in Sundergarh district’s Kutra area when she was returning home after celebrating Christmas in a village late Tuesday, said police officer Sushil Panigrahi.
Police arrested all the five accused and presented them in a local court from where they were remanded to judicial custody, he said.
The district headquarters town of Sundergarh is located about 400 km from state capital Bhubaneswar.
