CBSE Board Examinations Begin
Plus II exams from March 3
Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has announced the dates for the annual Plus-II examination. The examination will commence from March 3 and will continue till 26, Higher Education Badrinarayan Patra said.

The examination dates have been fixed keeping an eye on the ensuing general elections, Patra added.

In a departure from the past standard practice, the practical tests, which were generally conducted after the theory examinations will be conducted prior to theory papers. Practical examinations will begin from February 17 and will end on 26.

Similarly, contrary to the prevailing practice of two sessions a day, the three-hour examinations will be held in the single-sitting-a-day format to ensure better monitoring. The exam will start at 10am and will end at 1pm.

In addition, to prevent any malpractice the council has also decided to go for four sets of question papers.

Around 3.5 lakh students in arts, science, commerce and vocational streams from over 1,400 colleges would appear the annual examinations this year.
