The Konark Festival is the dance festival organised annually by Odisha Tourism as a tribute to the immortal artisans who carved the figures of dancers and musicians at the Natamandir (Hall of Dance), a detached part of the Sun temple of Konark. The festival is held in an open air auditorium with the Sun temple as the backdrop. Eminent dancers participate in this Indian classical and traditional dance festival. The festival is conducted from December 1-5, every year.
