Bhubaneswar: The sixth edition of the weekly Patha Utsav on Sunday turned into a mega platform for New Year celebration that drew revellers in large numbers who gathered at the entire stretch of Janpath from Master Canteen to Ram Mandir Square.
The event became a perfect place for citizens of the Capital City to greet one another on the very first day of 2017.
One of the biggest attractions was musical performance by SaReGaMaPa fame Odia girl Sniti Mishra. Ama Kalakar group also performed on Odia and Bollywood songs.

Apart from this the Dhangda and Dhangdi tribal dance performances of Kui tribes also mesmerised the audience. The creative rangoli welcoming the new year created by Nirmala Kruti Bikash Trust was the pne that attracted maximum crowd.
The Banadurga dance troupe from Berhampur presented a traditional dance form depicting different forms of Goddess Durga with traditional dance steps and musical instruments.
