Rains Leave Bhubaneswar Waterlogged

Bhubaneswar: Residents of the capital city continue to suffer with several areas including Acharya Vihar, Rasulgarh, Cuttack Road, Bomikhal, Baramunda and Jharapada reeling from waterlogging with commuters being forced to wade through knee-deep water.

Adding to the woes of residents, the local Met office on Monday has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall across the state until July 22, as a result of a low-pressure area developing over the Bay of Bengal, which is likely to turn into a depression within the next 24 hours.
