Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday announced that the state government will soon come up with a new Odisha Export Policy-2017 to boost export from the state.
Patnaik announced this while addressing a workshop titled “Export Strategy of Odisha” that was organized by MSME department.
Patnaik also congratulated the exporters from Odisha for achieving 114 per cent growth in 2016-17 over the previous year.
Nineteen exporters of the state felicitated on the occasion for their outstanding performance. The National Aluminium Company was presented the Best Exporter’s Award for having exported products of highest turnover.
Among others MSME minister Prafulla Samal and director of ministry of commerce Praveen Bonigala were present on the occasion.
