Fun Time for Kids in Bhubaneswar, Two Festivals on Children’s Day

Bhubaneswar: Preparations are on in full swing in the capital city as two children’s festivals are set to be organised on the occasion of Children’s Day.

The three-day annual festival ‘Surabhi’ organised by School and Mass Education Department will start with a cycle rally from Forest Park to Unit-IX Boys’ High School, from November 14.

The festival will witness workshops, art and painting, clay modelling, balloon art, origami and puppet, dance and magic shows.

Anjali, the annual children’s festival hosted by Swabhiman and the state disability information and resource centre, will kick-off at Adivasi Ground in Bhubaneswar on Children’s Day.

This year, the festival will be held from November 14 to November 18. More than 1,000 children, including special kids, will take part in the festival, sources said.
