Bhubaneswar: To train young minds of Odisha in creating socially minded business leaders, a half-day workshop on Social Entrepreneurship was organised by World Trade Centre (WTC) Bhubaneswar on Monday.
The event witnessed deliberations by several successful entrepreneurs who shared their thoughts on social entrepreneurship and its impact on the society.
The speakers were eminent academicians and social entrepreneurs, who had outstanding experiences to their credit and impacted the lives of thousands.
Some of the speakers were, renowned social activist Shri Jagadananda, Shri. A.K. Sharda, Managing Director, Grow Green Consortium Pvt. Ltd (GGCPL), Shri. Subrata Panigrahi, Director, Institute of Quality, Environment Management Studies (IQMES), Shri Narasingha Panigrahi, Director, Siddha Development Research and Consultancy (SDRC), Shri C.R. Pattanayak, Coordinator, Eastern Region, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI), Prof Kaushal Borisagar of Sri Sri University, Prof Kamala Kanta Dash of Odisha Diary and Kalinga Kusum Foundation.
Students of National Law University Odisha (NLUO), Utkal University, Sri Sri University, College for IT and Management Education (CIME), Biju Patnaik Institute of Technology and Management (BITM) and Siksha O Anusandhan (SOA) University attended the training workshop to learn the basics of social entrepreneurship.
