Temperature Dips in Odisha, Phulbani Shivers at 3.5 Degree C


Bhubaneswar: Following a brief respite, cold wave conditions have made a comeback with the temperature dipping below 10 degree Celsius in as many as eight towns in Odisha on Sunday.

According to the regional meteorological department, the lowest temperature was recorded at 3.5 degree Celsius in Phulbani.

Other places where the mercury dipped below 10 degree Celsius are Sundergarh (7.5), Hirakud (7.6), Baripada (8), Jharsuguda (8.5), Keonjhar (8.9), Sambalpur (9.6) and Jharsuguda (8.5).

The twin cities Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded 14.4 degree Celsius and 12.4 degree Celsius respectively.
