Bhubaneswar: The fifth edition of the six-day MSME trade fair organised by the MSME department of the Odisha government with focus on the food processing sector was inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik at the IDCO Exhibition Ground here on Monday.
As per sources, more than 300 MSMEs and 30 start-ups have taken part in the trade fair this year. Besides, 30 entrepreneurs from Iran, South Korea and Bangladesh have also taken part in the trade fair for the first time.
During the six day, apart from the expo, seminars are scheduled to be hosted, wherein experts from different fields will throw light on various prospects of growth and share their opinions.
On March 06, a seminar will be held on “Credit and Marketing Linkage to MSMEs and Exporters” and on March 07, a seminar will be held on “Boosting MSME Business through ZED, GEM, IPR and Digital Marketing”.
On March 8, a seminar will be held on “Boosting MSMEs Led by Women & SC/ST Entrepreneurs”. On March 9, seminar will be held on “Potential of Food Processing in Odisha with Focus on Packaging”.
In a bid to mentor the emerging entrepreneurs of the state, a seminar on ‘Mission 1000 Startups’ will be held on March 10.
The fair would continue till March 10.
