Odisha Continues to Reel Under Blistering Heat, Titlagarh Records 41.5 Degree Celsius


Bhubaneswar: The scorching heatwave continued to sweep in most parts of Odisha, including the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack on Wednesday, with Titlagarh recording a maximum temperature of 41.5 degrees Celsius.

Three other places Sonepur, Malkangiri and Bolangir recorded 40.4 deg C, 40.2 deg C and 40.1 deg C respectively.

Heat wave conditions also prevailed in capital city Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur with a maximum temperature recorded at 38.2 deg C, 37.8 deg C and 39.2 deg C respectively.

The regional meteorological office has predicted that a few areas would experience showers from March 31 and continue till April 4.
