Bhubaneswar: Blistering heat swept across Odisha on Thursday, with nine places recording temperatures above 40 degree Celsius.
The Regional Meteorological department, Bhubaneswar today issued a heat wave warning for several parts of Odisha and has predicted that similar conditions will prevail across the state over the next 3-4 days.
The Indian Meteorological Department has also issued thunderstorm and lightning alert till today for eight districts including Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Jajpur, Khurda and Angul.
