Sand Sculpture to Mark World Environment Day


Bhubaneswar: Marking the World Environment Day noted sand artist Manas Sahoo has created a sand sculpture in Puri depicting the importance of protecting the environment.

The 20 feet long art work with a message “Beat Plastic Pollution” was created by Sahoo in a bid to create awareness among people to prevent the massive use of plastic to prevent pollution of earth.

World Environment Day is being observed across the world on June 05. The day, inspired by the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment, is being observed since 1973. The day reminds us that living sustainable is all about doing more with less.
