Bhubaneswar: The annual terracotta fair Mruttika-2018, organised by the Directorate of Handicrafts and Cottage Industries. began at the Exhibition Ground here on Tuesday.
Over 180 artisans from Jajpur, Keonjhar, Balasore, Subarnapur, Baragarh, Rayagada, Khurda, Sambalpur, Balangir, Cuttack, Sundarargarh, Nabarangpur and Nayagarh are taking part in the exhibition.
As many as 80 stalls are operational at the venue, where clay artworks in the form of flower vases, home décor items, daily use items are put on display.
Besides, with the Diwali festivities closing in, the exhibition has become a must for shoppers collecting designer diyas s and other lighting materials.
The exhibition will continue till November 05, 2018 and is open for visitors from 02:00 PM to 09:00 PM everyday.
